Drizzt doesn't fight gnolls
As the title suggests, I just encountered Drizzt near the lake. He asked me to help him, as he's supposed to, but he didn't fight the gnolls that appear. He sort of moved away to the southeast while my group fought them. Fortunately I managed to defeat them, and on initiating conversation with him, the rest of his dialogue proceeded as expected.

If you scatter the gnolls with a fear spell, some of them disappear and then Drizzt will never talk to you again (nothing to say to you). You should be able to finish his quest.
(I know these bugs are minor and actually quite nice for HC player who want all the gnoll XP and plan to kill Drizzt, but a bug is a bug)
Similar issue spotted in bandits camp, with hobgoblins. They were frozen in place, and couldn't move.
But the game is inconsistent with the different speaking options. Sometimes you have to speak with NPCs with the highest charisma using character, sometimes with CHARNAME, sometimes with CHARNAME or Immoen... And if you are a casual player you wouldn't think of that you can reach more speach/quest options if you speak with CHARNAME (there is many quest that only open up for you when you speak with your CHARNAME to the quest bringer NPC).
And if you are wandering around to kill monsters you just put your fighter (tank) character to the first place on the row and then you forget to change back to CHARNAME / high charisma character if you want to speak with someone.
I could not collect a reward, so was forced to surround him with my party, then kick em all out. Then equipped a halberd used at range whilst drizzt was hostile but unable to break free of the ring made up of Imoen, Khalid, Jaheria, Ajantis and Kivan. Drizzt died very frustrated...
Perhaps we need to equip drizzt with a bow... A +5 composite... That would put it up 'em as my grandad used to say... Especially to those that like to hide around the other side of the lake.
Maybe do not exploit? lol
