"offline mode"

What is the point of "offline mode" if it won't start any of the games offline?

I guess the offline mode worked before we sunset the client. Going forward, please use this: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/90427/sunsetting-the-beamdog-client-and-the-beamdog-store
