Tweaks Anthology not installing
I'm installing Tweaks Anthology mid game mainly to kill the XP caps. I'm playing with a party of 3, a paladin, a theif (Imoen), and a magicuser (Neera). I am hitting the XP cap with 2 chapters and half Durlag's Tower left. My small party is contributing to my fast rise in experience. I'm an old AD&D player from the 1980s, so, to me, having a XP cap is illogical from a role playing standpoint. I understand why it exists, and if I had a party of 5 or 6, it would make more sense.
My OS is Windows 10, and my antivirus (Windows Defender) and VPN are turned off.
Here's what I have so far:
1) Installed DLCMerger. It says installation was successful, but I want to verify. There a folder in the game directory named "sod - dlc." Does that verify it did merge successfully? Just trying to make sure I've done it correctly. I'm a novice to the mod installation thing, or anything dealing with computing. My students help me when my PC goes funky.
2) I downloaded the Tweaks Anthology (cdtweaks-v18.exe) from Gibberlings Three and running it in the game directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition).
Is this the correct folder?
Because when I run the .exe file in the game directory, it starts for a second (the wheel starts turning), then stops. I don't know why it isn't even starting to download. Any thoughts as to what the issue can be? What am I missing? Thanks.
Edit: And I tried running it as administrator. Same thing.
Best,
Gary K.
