I failed to find a thread here about the Cowled Menace mod, but I noticed there are other discussion threads such as on gibberlings:

The mod is actually somewhat of medium age; it seems it was created in 2020.
From looking at it back then, I think it required EET, but it works on non-EET as well.
I tested it first perhaps ... two months ago or so, and basically it offers a continuation
or extension to the cowled menace (or perhaps cowled mages as such) for the most
part; and a connection to some famous assassins too. I'll not give away the background
here, people can play it on their own (or read through the help files, which contains a
lot of info). So basically it adds some interesting encounters, and a quest of small
size, mostly, e. g. interconnecting the events, which, story-wise, kind of makes sense
to me. Maltodaxtrin is still maintaining it at github here:
https://github.com/Gibberlings3/CowledMenace
So if you have ideas that may be useful or interesting, I suppose Maltodaxtrin may
consider extending the mod in small-ish ways (my assumption here, but I think there
might be a chance).

There is an interesting correlation to Zallonara; I reported a bug where Zallonara
could be killed twice.
(Been fixed since then as far as I can see.)
The fight in one hidden cave, as well as the final boss fight, are quite interesting. I
actually found the fight in the hidden cave very difficult, until I realised that the
enemies do mostly use the same spells. Once I figured that out, while also taking
advantage of repositioning, the fight became easier, but it was not very easy either,
depending on the party level. (Though, this fight can be a lot harder depending on
what was done or not done prior to it. But first time it was quite challenging, second
time it became a lot easier when I knew what to do.)
The reason I added the thread here was mostly because not everyone is active
on the gibberling forum, for various reasons. (My reason is mostly that I try to
keep the number of registered accounts on webforum as low as possible. The more
I would have, the harder it would be to maintain any activity on them.)
