Guantlets of weapon expertise are not giving damage bonus

The description states I should set +1 THACO bonus and +2 damage bonus.

Currently equipping the gauntlets gives the THACO bonus (can see this on the THACO display in my inventory) however I am not getting the damage bonus. I should see bonuses to both THACO and damage when gauntlets are equipped.

    I think it is working, but the inventory damage display is bugged.

    On my archer the inventory display says 8 - 13 damage, I just hit something for 15 damage (non-crit) wearing the gauntlets.

    Yes, this is just a display bug for anything with a damage bonus effect. Already reported.

    It says in the item description thac0 +1 damage +2, the character record sheet and the window in the inventory screen do not show any increase in damage with or without the gauntlets equipped... Is this a bug in the display or a bug in the item?

    This should be in Bug reports, I am getting the same thing. I did read on here though that you are getting the +2 damage if you look at the attacks and see the damage they do. Havent confirmed this though.

    Example: weapon does 1-4 damage, put on the gloves and see if you hit for 6 damage with nothing else on.

    Well Rasaad's damage is 2-9 right now, with and without the gauntlets, and he just hit for 3. So it'd be a minimum of 4 damage he could roll if the gauntlets were correctly adding damage without displaying the change. Therefore I'm going to hypothesize that the gauntlets are not factoring the added damage in at all. :*(

    It is only a display problem, already reported it.

    The gauntlets of weapon expertise list the benefit as +1 THACO/+2 damage. But I have observed that on the paper doll screen, only the THACO bonus shows up. Expected behavior is that equipping the gauntlets would cause your damage to go up by 2.

    have you verified it's actually increasing the damage in game? To be honest those extra gauges are not only unnecessary (the character scroll tells you everything you need to know), they're often wrong for the more complicated stuff.

    The new feature of showing min/max damage is truly not accounting for extra damage effects on items.
    This was already added to tracker.

    I don't know if the stats in character/inventory screens simply show properly or if item is not working as it should.

    Legacy of the Masters bracers item description states:
    Equipped abilities:
    - THACO: +1
    - Damage: +2

    Once equipped thaco bonus works/shows properly but damage stays the same rather than increasing by 2.

    This is already reported, it affects only the displayed min/max damage.
