Tab highlight should not be included, it breaks all the search mechanics. For a game like ToB, where you were pushed through the enemy and loot laden story as quickly as possible it worked well, but for a game like BG1 searching for your loot and examining the environment is an important element. What would be with all the hidden treause (Ring of Wizardry, Ring of Protection, several gems, etc.)? New players would be easily able to find those things.

    Tab search must be ingame.

It's annoying to have to pass the mouse around the entire screen to see what can be taken and what cannot be taken, that break a bit the fun. If the game want to make some of the hidden spots of the game as secret, just put them as hidden by game engine terms (use the purple selective cover, used for hidden walls in the game normally) so until found and highlighted in purple, the Tab function will not uncover that spot.

Sure, if they knew in advance that they were there. Otherwise apart from the one in front of the friendly arm inn I doubt people would even find any of them without going online. Unless they make it a habit to run around holding tab down.

Since Infravision shouldn't work on the undead as technically no heat is radiated, could we update the Turn Undead ability so that when it is in use, the undead are illuminated? Particularly when fighting undead at night, easier to see them run in all directions when they 'panic'.
