Neera Romance end screen (possible *spoilers*)

Dear all,

as you can see from the attached picture, I completed BG2 ToB with Neera in the party and having done the romance with her with my main character.
At the end it is mentioned that Charname wakes up to find Neera gone. He smiles as he knows where she has gone and, after a few weeks, he joined her there.

Where is "there"?

    Well, given the last part of the epilogue before that line, it's possible that Neera went to Thay to foil more of the Red Wizards' ploys. I suspect, however, that that last line is left deliberately vague to show how CHARNAME now knows Neera SO well that even if she never says anything to him, he knows what she is going to do. Her actual destination and intentions are irrelevant.

    Not sure where she went. But sinking those three ships full of slaves doesn’t sound very heroic to me...

    I think it is implicit that there were no slaves on ship when they sank and that she did it to make it harder for them to take slaves
