How do we convert Cleric Spells to healing?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
It's been a long time since I played the original version, so I can't remember how this was done.

IIRC, we could convert Cleric spells to healing - either in BG1 or BG2. For e.g., you could have Chant and Aid in all Level 2 slots, and convert those memorized spells to healing spells.

Is my memory correct? If so, can we do the same in BGEE? And if so, with what hotkeys?

    That is something from NWN. You can't do it in BG.

    It's surprising there isn't a mod for this.

    Yep, Tresset is correct. The ability to spontaneously swap Cleric spells to Cure/Cause spells was something introduced in 3rd Edition. The BG series didn't have that.
