"Classic Selection Circles"

Simple request really.
I'd like an option to bring the real classic selection circles back into the games (BG1:EE, BG2:EE, PT:EE, IWD:EE).
The hidden option provided in the baldur.ini just resizes the new selection markers and still looks out of place compared to the old ones.

I've seen an old "bug"report concerning this topic on https://support.baldursgate.com/issues/21431 but it's already 3 years old by now.
Whether it's deliberately ignored, forgotten or just not on the priority list I can't tell so I'm trying to raise awareness with this thread.

    The request is logged onto our internal tracker, but it's in the backlog.
