Problem with Edwin and Sraff of Magi

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Please help me.
I just finished Neera's quest and went to Cooper Cornet for Edwin, but he wasn't there. First I thought it's some kind of bug but I realize that he left equipped with Staff of Magi. So he is somewhere there hidden. Is there any way to make him visible?

    Never mind - dispel magic.

    I wonder if he wears Cloak of non-detection. Will Dispel Magic still work?

    - Keldorn's dispel magic
    - Permidian Dragonslayer's (Long Sword+2 double daage vs Dragons) Detect Invisible ability

    Hmm, would a Thief with ranks in Detect Illusion also work?

    Viconias 14th level dispel also worked.

    I don't know about DI beyond 50 points but my Hexxat with 50 didn't dispel him.

    I've never been called Dragonslayer before. I confess it has a pleasing ring to it. But I think the name of the sword you are looking for is Peridan: https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Peridan

    Upon reflection, I think it probably wouldn't work because Edwin isn't a hostile target, and I believe Detect Illusion only works against enemies (otherwise it'd dispel your own party's illusions too).
