So, I was right and it definitely wasn't anything to do with your mod. Totally not sure why, but when creating/preparing some mods for transferring to android, you have to add in some empty folders/files to the packaged zip with the dialog.tlk file. Otherwise you get strange issues like the one I had where new male characters defaulted to the original dialog.tlk, but new female characters used the overridden one. Strangely enough, once those empty files were put into my zip, everything started working, so now looking forward to seeing what kind of upgraded items you've given us.
Thank you all for the kind words. I am working on a small update for this mod which corrects one very minor issue (doubtful that anyone would ever run into it, but I'm going to fix it anyway because it's the right thing to do)
I am also planning to add a couple of new things to fill some holes.
I just wanted to post that I am still working on the next update for this mod. It ended up being a bit bigger than I had originally planned, but than means it has more fun stuff too
For the folks that follow this mod, I am still working on the next update. Instead of going to v1.0.1 I have decided to go to v1.1.0 since this update will include more than the minor fixes I originally intended. In the next update, I will be including more stuff for mages in particular since I felt they were sorely left out of the original release. There will be some new spells which I think you all will like, especially when you see how they are obtained, along with the minor fixes and a new item or two. Stay tuned!
I've completed the v1.1.0 update additions and changes, and I am putting the finishing touches on it now. If I don't run into any major snags, I should have it up by the end of the week.
@Daeros_Trollkiller
Hi, I can't explain myself, how much I love this mod.
It appears to be a mandatory install for every future playthrough.
However I run into little issue:
I really love the Storm Pike +2 transformation into the Maelstrom Axe, however with the second upgrade where Cromwell uses Hammer of Thunderbolts and Crom Fayer scroll, the additional effect of cloudburst kinda makes the Axe unusable in populated areas, because it causes damage not only to enemies but also to party NPCs and even the neutral NPCs such as citizens - which you know kind of harm your reputation
I am not sure if this was intended as samo kind of "balance" feature, but if not I would suggest substitute the cloudburst effect with something less invasive/target only oriented. Otherwise I will remain in first upgrade in my next playthrough.

Greetings, and thank you for the compliment! I am very happy you enjoy my mod.
I was just curious if you actually used the axe in a populated area and had the effect hit/kill non-hostile NPC's? If so, could you share with me where it was?
The maelstrom effect should only be hitting hostiles. It should not be hitting your party members or non-hostile NPCs.
After reading this, I loaded up a clean install, went to athkatla, and proc'd the axe on party members near a group of NPCs... I let it proc several times, and it worked as intended (didn't hit any non-hostiles), so I am very curious about your particular situation.
Hey Cahir, I thought I had responded to your post, but I guess it didn't go through. I haven't tested this mod with EET, and I didn't set out to have it be compatible. (but it is desirable, I do understand)
That's being said, a user over on G3, 3ndos, reported the exact same error you did, and during troubleshooting he reported back that it was a problem with his EET install. Here is a quote from the back and forth I had with him:
3ndos03/22/2020
Looks like it may have been my EET install. Redoing it to see if it changes anything
3ndos03/22/2020
My mistake, it was my install. I cannot remove the post off your topic, as a guest. Sorry!
After I saw your message, I checked into EET and the mod itself seems very dis-jointed from what I could find. Various install methods, still only a release candidate, etc... Folks recommending using big world to install, which is no longer supported.... It just seems very unfinished from what I could find.
If you can give me your exact install method, I will see what I can do to fix the issue, if possible.
@Daeros_Trollkiller I'm using Project Infinity as a method of installation. I have created .txt file (see attachment) with install order which I uploaded to Project Infinity. Program executes automatic installation of all listed mods in the exact install order as in attached file.
Despite the RC state, EET has been reported as very stable platform with more and more mods becoming compatible with it. True, that its author @swit (a.ka K4thos on other forums) haven't been around for a while, but he is working with an update that will include also IWDEE and IWD2 into EET, so you could basically play all IE games (without PSTEE) in one go. It is really fantastic project.

Cahir, out of curiosity, if you install my mod into BG2:EE before installing EET, what happens?

I didn't try that yet, and honestly I wouldn't know how to do it, because PI install everything before EET Core on BGEE and everything after on BG2EE. So I imagine if I put your mod before EET in my install order PI would try to install it on BGEE+SoD. @ALIEN any advice how to do it?
@Gwendolyne you have been updating many mods to work with EET. Are you able to help troubleshooting this to make this great looking mod EET compatible?

Well then it must be an issue with my game/install.
I have a lot of other mods installed so it will be really tough to identify where is the problem.
However I can tell that in my game the maelstrom effect hurts also all of my party members (Jaheira, Haer Dalis, Yeslick NPC mod and Evandra NPC mod). It also hurt other NPCs for example the Radiant heart knights in the paladin quest line where your character is sended to aid the knights in the fight agaisnt Sylithians in Umar hills near the Mimic cave. That was a moment where I realize it first because the knights turns hostile after the maelstrom effect.
So sorry for bringing this up, the problem is somewhere on my side

Start from clean BG2EE, install this mod as the only one, use such installation for the rest of the installation, without including already installed mod.

Please, don't apologize for bringing it up, I appreciate any and all feedback regarding my mod, as it helps me to improve it.
If you have the opportunity, would you mind doing a clean install of BG2:EE and this mod by itself and load up a save you can use to test again? I'd like to know the results so we can determine if it really is caused by other mods you have installed or not.

@Daeros_Trollkiller just to let you know. Installation done in the way suggested by @ALIEN was successful, so the next step is to see if those items will show up during the game. But that me take some time. I'll report when I get to BG2EE part.

Man I am sorry, I am gonna sound selfish but I play on Android tablet and getting mods installed or uninstalled is so much complicated and so much pain, that I would really like to not doing clean install and than reinstall.
I can try it after I will finish the current playthrough thou.
I am really sorry.

Actually with the proper auto-pause settings, you would be surprised, but it's kind of comfy. You could lay in your bed or on couch with the game, or play when you travel. The game is really good playable with touch control.
Sorry for off-topic

Hi, I can't explain myself, how much I love this mod.
It appears to be a mandatory install for every future playthrough.
However I run into little issue:
Hah! I'm so glad to hear it. When I first played SoD, this is what I wanted to see as well. Thank you for trying my mod!
After I saw your message, I checked into EET and the mod itself seems very dis-jointed from what I could find. Various install methods, still only a release candidate, etc... Folks recommending using big world to install, which is no longer supported.... It just seems very unfinished from what I could find.
If you can give me your exact install method, I will see what I can do to fix the issue, if possible.
Thanks for suggestion @ALIEN. @Daeros_Trollkiller I'll try to install your mode in this way and let you know about the results.
Man I am sorry, I am gonna sound selfish but I play on Android tablet and getting mods installed or uninstalled is so much complicated and so much pain, that I would really like to not doing clean install and than reinstall.
I can try it after I will finish the current playthrough thou.
I am really sorry.
No need to apologize, I don't have a way of testing this on Android. Heck, I couldn't even imagine playing this game on android to be a pleasant experience at all
Thank you Cahir!
Actually with the proper auto-pause settings, you would be surprised, but it's kind of comfy. You could lay in your bed or on couch with the game, or play when you travel. The game is really good playable with touch control.
Sorry for off-topic
