Branwen's Special Abilities

So, I know Branwen now has the Tempus kit, which gives her the standard special abilities for that kit...

My question is, does she still retain the 3x/day Spiritual Hammer ability as well? I picked her up just now using the current version installed and she didn't...but I'm hoping this is a Bug because the SH ability was very useful in the game.

Cheers

I don't remember, but you can give it to her via EEKeeper.

It's still there. Here's Branwen in the final BG1 battle just from a few weeks ago:

    Make sure she rested.

Hmm, ok...it may be a bug in my game then. I'll do some more checking and file a report if I conclude that it is. I'm thinking it may because when you find her, she's not rested (I think she only has 1HP) and may need to rest to refresh this ability - I'll have a look...

Thanks for the check - I'm glad she's still got it because it makes her unique, and it is incredibly useful at lower levels against e.g. Vampiric wolves in Ulcaster and around Beregost.

I really like the additional special abilities you find on certain NPCs in BG1 and BG2 (especially Faldorn and Tiax's summoning spells - another nice surprise was Mazzy's spell-like abilities and Eldoth's arrows). I'm not sure why they did it, I mean they didn't have to, but they did :)

By the way, @JuliusBorisov you have an interestng final party there...is it one of yours?

Yep, this is the party I've recently completed BG:EE with. The main character is F/T (multiclass). Having 2 specialist mages and spreading thieving abilities between the main character and Monty made a useful combo. For Minsc, I equipped him with the largest shield and a mace (and switched to the Spider's Bane when needed).

Agree with @Dharius . I love it when npcs have unique, but not overpowered abilities. It makes feel special without showing up the player character.

I've wanted to do a run with Xzar forever, but I can't stand bringing Monty along. But it also feels wrong to break them up.
