I'm still seeing problems with cumulative use of potions of power.

I had a character with 43 HP drink 24 potions of power in a row, this boosted his HP to 235 (so 8HP gain per potion).

When the first potion wears off you see his max HP drop 8 to 227, but his current HP drops 120 instead of only dropping 8, so now he has 115/227.
After the second potion wears off he has 43/219.
After the third potion wears off he has 43/211.
Etc, all the way down to 43/43.

I've also noticed a second bug here, if I load the save where charname had drunk the 24 potions, his HP is 163/235 instead of the full 235/235.

I don't expect it to be fixed in 2.6, but there's a noticeable graphical glitch in Candlekeep: The shadows cast by the fountains have a strange dithering effect on them, and the edges of the pools have black pixels along the border:

Please add the game to your Antivirus's exception list, and also add Documents - Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition folder there.

Of course, I don't use Antivirus, but I already find out, what do this problem. It's steam cloud sync in-game in menu.

I've been playing a bit of the beta, and I'm curious if there would be any negative consequences of starting a playthrough using the beta with mods and custom portraits?

The game was good to play before and seems to be in working order in the beta. :)

There is a very real chance that the patch will break all your mods, meaning you need to delete everything, reinstall the patched game, then add the mods and continue your game.

    Things that can go wrong:
New install order breaking the save
    Missing mods breaking the save
Mods no longer working on 2.6 patch, thus breaking the save

But if the 2.6 patch is of little interest to you, you can just copy the BG folder to a new location and play from there.

I see. Thanks for your help.

I played through the game. I didn't notice any new bugs. I had the pathing issue where characters get stuck stacked on top of each other significantly less. Maybe... two or three times total. I'm happy about that.

With everything coming closer to an end and things getting wrapped up for 2.6, do we already have a rough goal of when the patch is supposed to be released like does it take days, weeks, months @JuliusBorisov?
