Both IWD EE and NWN EE don't work after IWD EE is installed

Hi,

I'm battling the following problem: I've been playing NWN EE without any issues and recently wanted to reinstall IWD EE. After doing so, I started the game and made it into the menu. When I tried to start it again, a simple "There was an error" message pops out. The same happens for NWN EE now (because why wouldn't it?!), i.e. there's simple "fatal error" message when trying to start the game out of Steam.

Since all of this happens now after I installed IWD EE, I reckon this is the main culprit for some reason.

I use the Steam versions for both and play on Win10. I tried the following solutions: https://beamdog.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/article/1084882999 and also manually uninstalled and reinstalled OpenAL. I also reinstalled Steam and both games (never under Progam Files). None of it worked.

Has anyone seen a similar issue before?
