    For high level parties (Mage level 19+) get chain contingency, set it to go off when an enemy is sighted. Load it with 3 Horrid Wiltings. The spell doesn't affect allies, and enemy groups just evaporate. Works faster than summoning a couple of Devas. B)
    Also, why settle for 3 Devas? Summon some Planetars as well.

    I just confronted Gromnir, and Edwin unloaded his chain contingency. End of fight.

    One caveat. Do not use this if neutral civilians are in the area. I killed something like 4 civilians once, and our reputation fell through the floor.
