Installing Trouble

I'll be honest, I'm not the most advanced when it comes to computers.
My sister got me BGEE for my birthday through the itunes app store. It downloaded, but that's as far as I got. There's a "Baldur's Gate 1.0.3.ipa" icon sitting on my desktop that won't do anything. I've tried to drag it into applications and it won't go. I've tried opening it, but it wants to open it with itunes which fails miserably. I can't open it with any current software. I've tried downloading a few different launchers like the BeamDog installer thing, but those look like they're formatted for windows.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not sure where to go from here.

    Looks like an incomplete or corrupted download. All apps downloaded from the App Store automatically goes to the Applications folder and the Launchpad.

    Thanks. I'll get in touch with itunes and see if they'll let me download it again.
