    Why no romance theme? Now that I look at it, I kinda should've picked TOB theme.

    Romance, combat themes and ToB ending click on "other" !

    The Five. From Throne of Bhaal. God DAMN! DAT BRASS! It sets the "battle of ultimate powers" feel so nicely.

    I will never get over how awesome the SoA dragon battle music is.

    There are four that come to mind immediately:
    BG1 battle theme: Attacked by Assassins (Currently used for the battle theme for battles in Beregost among other places)
    BG2:ToB battle theme: The Five Four (since apparently Illesara doesn't count?) theme.
    BG2:ToB battle theme: Final battle with you know who theme.
    BG2:ToB character theme: Melissan

    To be honest there is too much good music in the series. This would probably be better served as a not poll thread but what's done is done.

    I wouldn't mind seeing a poll to decide which game people thought had better music.

    Hard to say. All BG music is excellent.

    All romance themes were just excellent as well , truly reflecting each girl's personality!

    My protagonist is always male, I've never heard Anomen's theme!

    The Jon Irenicus battle theme of course!

    But to be honest IWD takes the cake as far as music goes (kuldahar theme, yxunomei theme etc.)

    I love the Black Pits theme. Sam Hulick did a great job indeed with the new soundtrack. When I listened the new soundtrack for the firts time, I thought that they perfectly fit in the game, like they were part of the vanilla version of BG.

    My favourite track is probably the Battle Against the Five in ToB. I still get goosebumps remembering the first time I heard it.

    Temple choir in the Temple of Garl Glittergold at the Friendly Arms, and in the Temple of Helm in Nashkel. A few other temples, too. The name of the track is "Our Lady's House".

    Anomen's romance theme is a brass chorale in the style of Aaron' Copland's Lincoln Portrait. It happens to be my second favorite track in the series. Third would be Aerie's theme, then Jaheira's theme, and all the tavern music. Here's a link to Ano's beautiful, stately brass chorale:

    I especially love all the suspension/resolutions in the first horn part.

    Bhaalspawn battle all the way. The greatest thing I've heard durning Baldur's Gate saga.

    I like all, but the romance soundtracks were like the cherry on top of the cake .
