Do the NPC's get kits?

If not, is there a way for them to get kits?

    No the original NPC's don't get kits. You can use EEKeeper to give them them or mod them using something like Near Infinity if you are looking for a more permanent solution.

    The best mod to date to give kits to NPCs is Level 1 NPCs . Unfortunately it is not yet compatible with BGEE.

    So, if you're playing BG:EE your best bet is to use the EE Keeper

    I've waited for that:)

    What has surprised me more is that when I checked the current state of that mod I found out nothing has changed since your post.

    So, I've thought it would be the best option to use your phrase here;)
