[Dupe 7192] ToB Blackscreen issue.

I didnt find this anywhere else after an hour of searching so here goes.
After character creation in ToB, when I attempt to start game, the screen stays black as if everything's unexplored. Like FoW. No sidebars or chat either. Just a black screen and my mouse cursor.
The sound starts normally and I can see my mouse cursor and move it around, and even select my character and he replies. But the screen stays black and the mouse doesnt change to indicate movement or selection, just the standard hand.
I did manage to start 1 game out of about 20 tries. I would like to fool around with other pc's too..:D
Is there an easy fix for my problem?

Well, that wasn't very easy for me to find either - have renamed it.
