[Mod] Slayer form kills me after I change back to normal

This happens to me if I exit the Slayer form before I start taking damage as well as afterward. I'll take 5, 10, 25, 50, and then 1500 Magical damage. The only thing that can stop this is ctrl+R on CHARNAME. It seems to get rid of the effect that causes the magical damage to accumulate. Even then, the Slayer Change ability does not return after resting or even after 24 hours.

CURRENT BEHAVIOR: Exiting Slayer Change still causes Magic damage to be inflicted in increasing amounts on CHARNAME.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: The accumulating Magic damage should cease once End Slayer Change has been casted.

    What version of the game do you have @Flashburn‌ (Beamdog, Steam, PC, Mac, Android, iPad) and which patch version. & any mods in your install or EE Keeper edits on your saves?

    Does it also happen if you start a ToB game with a new character and transform immediately.

    The slayer form ability not recharging is a known issue, by the way.

    In unmodded SoA, the magic damage stops accumulating once I change back. If starting a new character in unmodded ToB, magic damage still accumulates even after switching back to human.

    In my modded SoA and ToB, magic damage accumulates regardless of whether I switch back to human or not.

    The only sure way to do this is to install again with one mod at a time and work out when it goes wrong. Then install again with only that mod to see if that is the culprit or if a combination of mods is the cause.

    Then find out if it is a recognised issue with the mod creators.

    I can confirm that the problem doesn't occur with a new ToB game, using Slayer Change immediately and then changing back.

    Did a fresh install of BG2EE and the magic damage ceases once I change back to human form now. Going to investigate which mod is causing the problem, but I have a hunch that its probably BP Ascension.

    That's probably the culprit. Ascension makes changes to the Slayer form.

    Yes, its just as I thought. BP Ascension is what is causing my issue. I suppose I'll have to wait until @Cuv makes the proper BGEE version of Ascension for this to get corrected.

    Did you have other mods before Ascension in that test, or was that on it's own enough to cause the issue.

    I guess the first thing horred will do is see if he can reproduce the issue. 30 seconds in from a new ToB game shouldn't be too much of an overhead but at the moment Ascension is being assumed when there is an admitedly small chance of it being a mod conflict.

    Up to you really, I'd probably be sick of installs by now...

    Can confirm this is happening. 100% reproducible in my current SoA savefile. Which is just great, because the mindflayer is not respawning as intended in the dungeon (grand total of zero respawns so far). Time to go enable the console...

    Ctrl+R stop the damage if you want to keep the game with Ascension. For me is a game killer anyway cos become too cheese play with the slayer this way.


    BUT... if Ctrl+R solve the issue, so i'm presuming the normal form chage don't end all the slayer effects.

    Attached here are 2 files, one is a normal save, before i use the ability, the other is my auto-save (after return from slayer form the game don't allow me to save, so i force a save with auto-save). If you open the game in ShadowKeeper, the difference of effects in curse on the main character are evident:

    The main char before the slayer change and return has only 7 Effects listed to her, the main char saved with auto-save, after the use and return of slayer change form has a lot more.

    The specific efect variables that are related with the issue i took a print screen and i'm attaching here, don't know how, what or where is the issue, but it's probally linked to these part of the string.
