Cannot obtain yeti armor or winter wolf cloak without talking to Mirek before finding his amulet

Title says it all. If you don't talk to him about pelts before completing his quest you never can, and can't obtain the related items.

    It could be argued that Mirek doesn't have to give an incentive after his brother is avenged. Or that if you don't ask questions early enough you are likely to miss out on opportunities.

    You could argue that, but I don't find it to be a compelling argument. Imo opinion it's silly that you have to find out this option from a random townsperson rather than one of the people that does the work for you. Wouldn't Conlan mention he can make armor when you sell him a bunch of yeti pelts? Ideally I think the fix should be adding that dialogue option to Conlan rather than making any change to Mirek.
