[Dupe] Viconia starts and then suddenly stops moving

Sometime after entering the Heretic Temple, Viconia has suddenly gone into a state where she suddenly stops moving (the little green circle disapears, she just stands there). I read online that this may be because she is in a state where her banter is incomplete. Is there any way to work-around this? I've tried killing her and raising, as well as dismissing her and picking her up from the Graveyard.

    @Gate70 thanks for the link to the thread. I'll give it a try the next time I run into something very serious, the method sounds cumbersome. Also it's not clear if I would be able to get the save back- I think the method would be to create a .bg1save file and import it again, but I'm not 100% sure that would work.

    Fortunately I had a save that was not too far back, so I went back again. I was able to repro the issue twice, I'm fairly sure it happens in the Amphitheatre during the Hammerhand dialog. Unfortunately the dialog tree is a little complex so I have no recollection of what I selected (not the same both times). I do remember that one time it was a peaceful resolution (the monks fought each other but not me) and the second time there was no combat at all. Once I ended up in a conclusion that had a fight, there was no problem with Viconia.
