What are to you the best rpg titles for MS Dos?

I already know the first two Elder Scrolls and the various D&D based games.

    Gold box Pool of Radiance series of games
    Gold box Krynn games
    Gold Box Wildlands games
    Ultima series
    Bards Tale
    Kings Quest

    Not necessarily in that order, but that's a good enough start to the list.

    Pool of Radiance is great! Loved it!

    I recently bought "The Bard's Tale" on my iPhone just so I could play the original trilogy XD. The 3d game or whatever is just a bonus.

    For me it's Ultima VII as well. And I really enjoyed Lands of Lore.

    I think the two Ultima VII, Ultima Underworld, Daggerfall And the Ravenloft games are the best.

    Years ago I liked the Quest for Glory series. It is an RPG / King's Quest combo with some hilarious dialogue as well.

    It started off as Hero's Quest but had to be renamed due to conflict with other IP.
