#18266 [Tablet] Unseeing Eye staircase cursor should not be present until Tad mentions it

I can't get my party to go down into the pit.

The staircase appears, but it just doesn't work.

Anybody ever have this issue?

Can you zip and attach a save for inspection please @Klorox I'm not aware of this being an issue to date.
    Thanks

Iirc the logical place to look for the 'transit to another area' icon would be either at the top or the bottom of the stairs whereas in fact it's neither - it's floating aimlessly in the middle of the pit.

I'm using an iPad. How do I do this?

We just get to this staircase and don't go anywhere.

There's nothing in the pit I can find.

did you talk to Tad yet and tell him "the eye is blind"

OK, unlikely to get a save from your iPad.

As sarevok57 mentions you need to speak to Tad to get that specific line. If he doesn't give the line you need to have previously spoken to Sassar who tells you to speak to Tad. To get that line from Sassar you need to have obtained half the rod from the Lower Reaches.

If you haven't done those steps the iPad version is giving a stairs cursor view too early. I'll have a look.

I spoke to Sassar, but never got the option to say "the eye is blind"

I ended up reinstalling. I'll see if the problem repeats itself soon.

I'll tag the cursor part in the meantime, which also happens for Android.

Maybe the issue was talking to Tad and attempting to go down before speaking to Sassar.

I figured it out. This is not a glitch: I screwed up.

I never went past Sassar and never got the portal device.

I just tried it the correct way and it works fine.
