More unique spells would help -- like Druid spells from IWD?
This would be incredibly welcome. Druids need an upgrade in Baldur's Gate.
I recommend using Spell Revisions and IWDification on top of that. With those two mods Druids and Shamans suddenly get an awesome selection. I have a hard time picking five spells per level with these mods!
I feel the same way about bard songs btw. your character becomes useless during battle if you want to keep up the song. this doesnt stop you from pre-buffing though and the shaman does as it can take a couple rounds to summon a spirit.
In later levels the shaman does get elemental spirits so it does get better, though you still have a chance of summoning an animal spirit.
