Latest Icewind Dale on Android does not start

Hi guys,
So I just upgraded from Samsung S3 to LG G5, former died after long trusty service.
And this great game won't start on the new hardware/software.
Its a brand new LG G5, bought it this morning, during the day updated the stock rom to the latest version.
Cleared cache, app data, removed the whole app and downloaded again from Play Store.
Still no good.
So I can share all the details of my phone's hardware/software if needed?
But maybe someone points me to a quick and simple fix?
It seems the first time you start the app (or when i clear app data/cache), the screen turns black, i see a (down?)loading bar for a split second then it's back to phones home screen. The next time i try to start it, it turns just black and then back to home screen prompting me to send an error report.
I really hope someone can help me out!

Have you tried shutting the device down and restarting it.
