Doubt many would appreciate Melodic Death Metal but this is a really inspiring and confidence-inspiring song in my opinion.
The band leader is Peter Tagtgren, you might know him better for his solo project called Pain (Industrial Metal band) but also more recently with Rammstein's frontman project, Lindemann.
Hypocrisy usually has an atmospheric and spatial sound to it, with alien/conspiracy themes.
I've somehow never heard Hypocrisy until now! Thanks for this! I'll do a tit for tat with some Atheist that this makes me think of for some reason (it's not all that similar, but something sparked it in my brain...)
@Shandyr I couldn't find any of her music on youtube to do this properly for the thread but may I humbly submit that if you like Corrs-esque music (altho maybe a bit more Alanis Morissette/Cranberries-esque than Corrs-esque overall) you might enjoy this 2007 EP from an artist who never made anything else for some reason
These guys opened for 'em that night (wasn't the first time I'd seen them, and I'll admit I was almost more there to see them than Finntroll but I did like Finntroll and their live show blew me away)

Atheist are nice but I was never a fan of technical stuff, though I do enjoy Death.
You might also know Bloodbath. Peter Tagtgren also provided the vocals for their second album, Nightmares Made Flesh.
And here are a few more Hypocrisy tracks I really like, among others.
@Shandyr
you're making me nostalgic for the 90s with that one
here have a Canadian gem from that era from behind the content wall dividing me from that video: the first Canadian Idol winner's first single!
RIP Gene Wilder
@BillyYank absolutely agree...not music but I love Gene Wilder in this movie
Nothing better than listening to Korpiklaani in order to start ones weekend.
This is better
Their best songs are the ones that are in the style of Finnish folk poetry
And as a bonus this is an actual folk song
Because Wacken is only once per year. TOT
I'm going to see Weird Al at Wolf Trap tonight.
