[IWD EE - Steam Version] Game doesn't recognise GPU

Hi!

I just installed IWD EE, but the game runs ultra slow. I soon identified that the game apparently doesn't seem to recognise my GPU (https://i.imgur.com/BsAOSkV.png).

I've played countless hours of BG2:EE and BG:EE and never had this problem. Even the original IWDs are running fine on my machine.

CPU: i7-920
GPU: GeForce GTX 660

Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Thanks!

    Please attach a directx diagnostics report (Windows/R -> type dxdiag and click ok, wait for the green bar to indicate it is complete -> save all information -> drop the resulting file into the leave a comment box here).

    Have you tried checking for an updated graphics card driver. e.g. at http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers automatic driver updates. A manual search indicates something like the below but I'd say try the automatic detection.

    You could also see if installing directx 9.0c alongside the newer version helps.
