    Here's one very evil trick that can earn you a few levels early on:

    1. Go to Feldepost's Inn in Beregost
    2. Kill Algernon for his cloak (or steal it if you can)
    3. Go to the Song of the Morning Temple
    4. Charm a sirine
    5. Lure the sirine outside by having her cast Improved Invisibility on you from out of range and leaving while she's trying to close the distance
    6. Kill the sirine
    7. Sleep
    8. Repeat steps 4-7 until there are no sirines left

    Bam, easy 8000 XP, and it only cost you your conscience and dignity.
