Brown Dragon?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Back in pre-EE times I remember fighting a brown dragon in the druid grove.

However I can't find any reference to it nowadays.

It was a mod? If so, which one? Can somebody give me a link to download it?

It was a cutted content? If so, why? The battle was difficult, but not impossible AFAIK.

    I believe that was KensaiRyuu's Brown Dragon mod, which was part of various mod packs (Tactics? BP? Can't remember it's been years).

    It is most certainly not part of the vanilla game.

    I don't recall seeing that mod anywhere in the post-EE era so it may be outdated and not available in a current version; though of course the old version MAY still work. Google should be able to find it somewhere.

    Every google result I found pointed that it was a Tactics component, but the mod's readme doesn't say anything about this.

    There is a link to a "Difficult Dragon" as a Google result, but it is dead.

    From what I recall it wasn't a particularly amazing mod anyway.

    If you want a big dragon to fight, why not try The Ritual (part of the Tactics mod). I think Tactics has now been ported to EE completely, I remember seeing it in BWS.

    Brown Dragon was a component of the BP mod. I'm not sure about EE compatibility.
