Can I do Rassad/Neera's quests without him/her?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I want to explore in new areas and get some exp,but I don't want to have Rassad/Neera in my party. Is it possible?

    Not without cheating.
    You can move to the areas with console commands, but not all content will be available without the quest givers. No big fun.

    I can't comment about Rasaad, but I've done Neera's quest without her, kinda. If you take her in your party just long enough to trigger her quest (about a day or two) and open her new area on the map, you can safely dump her and go do the quest without her. The game will actually spawn her in to say critical lines so you won't break anything.

    The whole quest? Or maybe just the initial part
    finding the enclave.
