First playthrough on normal

TaylorrrTaylorrr Member Posts: 30
I was wondering if it's worth it to have my first playthrough be normal or core. So far I've been playing on normal, but that was before I read the "true' actual difficulty would be the core setting. I don't wanna feel like I'm cheating by not playing on the intended difficulty, even though normal is the default.

Normal is fine, you never have to worry about party members getting permanently killed, spells failing to be copied, hp on level up, etc.
Play on core if you feel that you'll appreciate the differences.

Up to you entirely, play for your own enjoyment.
And if you find it a bit too easy, then you can put it up as you progress.
Even try a fight on "normal" and then replay it on core and see how you get on.
Remember the most important thing, pause often and save often.

Either way, good luck and here's hoping you love the game as much as the rest of us. :)
