Android vs iPad

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
So, back in the trenches after I saw SoD was up for tablets. My old 2012 iPad cannot deal with iOS11 so was thinking of switching to an Android tablet, which should be cheaper and I can likely use for the same things anyway. Question is:

- Is the Android version more bugged than the iOS one?
- Which tablet would be recommended because it is not too pricey and can run the game without issues?

    The versions are the same.
    We recommend devices with more RAM (over 1 GB of RAM is needed).

    If memory serves, you should have an iPad mini 2. If so, then your device meets the minimum requirements to play SoD (it has 1 GB of RAM and iOS 11 is compatible with it).
