How do I change the language?

I bought NWN:EE on the Beamdog Client for macOS and want to play the game in the german version, which the product page on the Beamdog Store states, is included in the EE.
In the Beamdog Client I get to choose "Digital Deluxe", "Digital Deluxe - Development" (which I did not buy), "English" and "English - Development". No matter which of the latter two I choose, the game will only run in the english version. I changed the language in the Beamdog Client to german, but that did not solve the problem.
How di I cahnge the language for the game to german?
