Can I opt out of Steam Inventory?

As of this morning I seem to have four items in my Steam Inventory which seem to be NWN trading cards (or something like that).

How can I turn this off? I absolutely don't want to be involved in any kind of commercial trading & the notifications are a distraction.

    The Inventory is a Steam feature (it's for all games). There trading cards won't involve you in any kind of commercial trading unless you yourself will offer them for trading.

    There have already been many requests to turn this off on Steam as people find it annoying. It seems unnecessary to be notified that you have new items worth £0.003 but we are stuck with it apparently.

    The Steam version of NWN EE only drops 4 cards maximum, and you can safely ignore it afterwards.
