Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate allows you to become a vampire. Just sayin'.

As do most of the Elder Scrolls games.
You can also become a werewolf or wereboar in those games.

    As are humans.

Agree. Elves are underrated. As well as dwarves.

Elves are overrated posing popinjays, like slightly less emo vampires.

Dwarves, on the other hand, are awesome.

Elfes are the best "standard" race
    * Have the most beaufiful females
    * Life a live without much stress like humans and dwarfs
    * Elfes are free from high strict social hierarchy
    * His societies are much more stable than human society aka no people killing thenselfes for money and territory
    * Have the most long and quality lived life (vampires have the fear of persecution and the sun, liches have a life of isolation and can't feel pleasure)
    * Due his long lifespan, elfes have the highest potential to evolve.

IF i need to reborn into a DnD world, i will certainly choose elf as my race. Remember that if a medieval world you have 95+% of chances of being a commoner and without the GM "helping" and driving you, you will probably die as a commoner without realizing anything heroic. The average elf lives much better than the average human.

I wouldn't want to be reborn in a d&d world mostly because you have to murder all the things to achieve personal growth.

My situation is if you need to reborn... And you don't necessarily need to archive personal growth.

As for best race, Halflings are always superior. They're the superiorest.

"I have never imagined such beauty existed,” Goldmoon said softly. The day’s march had been difficult, but the reward at the end was beyond their dreams. The companions stood on a high cliff over the fabled city of Qualinost.

Four slender spires rose from the city’s corners like glistening spindles, their brilliant white stone marbled with shining silver. Graceful arches, swooping from spire to spire, soared through the air. Crafted by ancient dwarven metalsmiths, they were strong enough to hold the weight of an army, yet they appeared so delicate that a bird lighting on them might overthrow the balance. These glistening arches were the city’s only boundaries; there was no wall around Qualinost. The elven city opened its arms lovingly to the wilderness.

Only for me this looks much better than be a commoner farmer? Or be a small halfling?

Sounds like somebody got a bit of the case of the ol' Mary-Sueitis to me!

Which isn't very confounding, those are two hack writers you chose to quote. Didn't even have sense to include halflings in their setting. Clearly demented.

5 requirements for races who want the title of "best race":
    • has to be slimey
    • has to have tentacles
    • has to be green
    • has to be non-humanoid
    • has to be sentient
Through careful screening of all participants, I came to the conclusion that the "best race" can only be aboleth.

If Elves are so superior, why are 80% of everything that is wrong with Faerun caused by elves?

Well, elfes are capable of causing more trouble than any other race. Refuted /JustKidding

im pretty blah on elves in general besides straight up Tolkien elves as written by Tolkien but one setting that has an interesting take on them is Divinity, esp in Original Sin 2. creepy psychic psycho cannibal elves. lol.. the elves in Pathfinder aren't nearly as interesting, sadly

I need to, though. I usually score "lawful good" on all of those darn tests, so I totally have to murder all the things:

(I can't link this in good conscience without mentioning that it really gets Kant wrong. He would never refer to a book to determine whether some group of orcs is evil. If they are capable of evil, then they are capable of ' being the authors of moral law'. For Kant that would mean that orcs are autonomous beings, just like humans. Indiscriminately attacking (and possibly killing) a group of orcs would be evil, for Kant, and I don't think he would play his paladin that way. Still, it's pretty funny )

I don't know jack about philosophers or their theories, but I still thought that was funny as hell. The part where one guy kills himself to demonstrate he do have free will is hilarious.

I beg to differ. Most new games hardly deserve any attention whatsoever. I really hope this one is an exception.
