    Hey! I just found this part of the forum! I was looking for a thread like this. The two in Gen Discussion either focuses on scandily clad women or just portraits!

    Anyways there's A LOT of pics to look through, I just wondered if you recall coming across something in the style of...

    But with less armour, that would be suitable for a Kensai originating from Shou-Lung. I also prefer a young-looking guy, so no facial hair.

    No worries if you don't remember, I'm just browsing for portraits for long term projects/ideas.

    @Heindrich1988 So... oriental with minimal armor? I'll have to look. There are also portraits I posted on @SpaceInvader's thread. I'll look out for some more in the future, though.

    Thanks! I've already looked through this entire thread, and downloaded quite a lot of sweet pics :D I think I've seen most of SpaceInvader's thread too.

    I admit, my 'ideal' pic is a bit specific/niche, I might just get an artist to commission one for me if I can't find it. The problem is that 80% of pics seem to be for girls, since they are obviously better lookin, lol. After that most of the men are Caucasian, and most 'orientals' are inspired by samurai or ninja.

    @Fredjo And I limit it now to only 12 or 13 per post (I may have gone over a few times, but...). In other places, I used to do 20 or 30 per post.

    If you're interested in images of characters inspired by oriental designs (armour, weapons, etc.) you might want to look for Legend of the Five Rings art (some of which has even been featured in this thread). It's a CCG and (tabletop) RPG franchise that takes place in a fantastic world inspired by traditional Japan. The CCG especially has had enormous amounts of art produced for it over the years.

    I have come across it before. The artwork is beautiful, but unfortunately I'm looking for more Chinese-style things than Japanese ones, which is tricky cos 'oriental fantasy characters' tend to equate to samurai and ninja.
