    There are plenty of fragile flowers in this big group of portraits, as well as some that aren't. I'm more amazed by the breadth of styles and approaches than the sheer quality of the art (that's a compliment, or two, actually), but to say that there aren't some fragile femmes and metro-dudes doesn't quite match what I see.

    Not that it matters. This is one of my favorite threads until there's another @LadyRhian role play that I can sneak into...

    @Reedmilfam Perhaps you're right. Most of the fragile flowers happen to be non-fighter classes, to be honest, and all of these are my selections of "Best art" out of a wide variety of portraits/art pictures. There are some I see that are too anime, too not well done, or just make me think "Lack of armor=quick death". I give a pass to lack of armor only for barbarians (because the be-loinclothed/fur bikini'd barbarian is a well-known thing) and for classes whose primary thing is casting or stealth. OR, the art has the character wearing some form of bracers, because you can handwave it away as "Character is wearing Bracers of AC whatever (2e) or Character is wearing Bracers of Armor (3e)". (Recently in BG, I had Yeslick join my party, and he inherited Branwen's Bracers of AC6 she'd been wearing instead of armor- Bracers can be worn by pretty much anyone, but they mostly go to the mages because other classes can wear armor, and armor is much more available in-game than Bracers of AC whatever.)

    On the homefront, my Dad once again made a trip to the hospital when he turned on the water in my bathroom and couldn't figure out how to turn it off, went into the garage to turn it off at the source when it started to overflow, and instead turned off the power for the entire house at the junction box, then fell down and bumped his head. I got home from work, couldn't get in or find the house key, nor the fake rock we had with the duplicate in the front yard, so I had to break a window to get into the house. Glass went everywhere, and I still haven't gotten the window fixed because NONE of the window glass places located outside my town come to my area (I'm not in their "coverage zone"). And those that are in my area, one guy is on vacation in North Carolina until next week, and the others are booked up for the next three weeks. :P So I am stuck with a piece of cardboard over the window, duct-taped into place, for the time being. :P
