Riddles

Ok, so this thread is partly a feature request and partly fan creation, so naturally I put it in general :p

Basically, I think the riddles from underneath spellhold in bg2 are so well known that they should all be replaced in the enhanced edition with new ones.
So does anyone have any riddles that would fit into the bg universe (so none involving, for example, iPads) to replace the old riddles with?

I think this may have been a bonus question on one of my exams back in highschool:
Q: What gets wetter the more it dries?
    A:
    a towel

Not terribly original or clever, I admit.

I don't have any suggestions but I totally agree!! I think its a small change that would make fans of the classic enjoy their playthroughs of bg2ee so much more.

I am guessing contract restrictions are going to get in the way of changing the riddles. They should save them all for dlc or baldur's gate next.

Here is one though. What English word sounds the same after removing 4 letters from it?

What about if you have never played BG2?

Then you wouldn't be missing anything even if they were to be replaced ;) I agree that updating them, if contractually allowed, and providing suitable replacements could be found / thought up would be good.

Maybe the riddle should be: "What is in my pocket?"

I have a riddle book right here..
They got some lovely illustrations done for it, but for some mad reason they got the illustrator to draw what the object of the riddle was, thereby removing all enjoyment of the riddle for the reader. grr!
anyhoo.. a (translated) old English riddle for you all.

I'm told a certain object grows
in the corner, rises and expands, throws up
a crust. A proud wife carried off
that boneless wonder, the daughter of a king
covered that swollen thing with a cloth.

Here's another saucy one (both are from The Exeter Riddle Book )

I'm a strange creature, for I satisfy women,
a service to the neighbours! No one suffers
at my hands except for my slayer
I grow very tall, erect in a bed,
I'm hairy underneath. From time to time
a beautiful girl, the brave daughter of some churl dares to hold me,
grips my russet skin, robs me of my head
and puts me in the panty. At once that girl
with plaited hair who has confined me
remembers our meeting. Her eye moistens.

Awesome riddles @Moomintroll, I got the first one, but the last one was hard.

Answer to Moomitroll's riddle is in here:

The dialogue options would be really cool in SoA:
    1. A steak?
    2. A onion?
    3. Err....... umm, the unmentionables?

Here is few riddles for ya (probably well known)

What is is that you will break every time you name it?

    and

What is made of wood, but can't be sawed?
