    *bow* I must admit, I was shocked when it happened, I had passed by the same place before and noticed nothing, but always thought there was something to that lonely tower.....

    Even though this is a Spoiler forum, I refuse to post exactly what I found as to not ruin the surprise for other players, though that won't stop me from dropping hints ;)

    *SPOILER* ( for those who want to discover him by yourselves )

    Hey been a long time fan , and recently going through my 3rd play though on BG:EE. Now something interesting has happened and I can’t seem to know if its been with the last patch update that this is possible, but it seems that Baeloth is a NPC that can join your party. I was wondering through the Larswoods and came to the ruined stone tower at the bottom middle of the map, and a cut scene arrived where he got ressurected (with a Ironic ring attached) . Now there was some fun dialogue between Him , Neera ,Djorn and Viconia, ( not going to ruin it for anyone) but wondering if anyone else has gotten him as NPC. I’ve looked through some of the forums but couldn’t find anything suggesting such.

    Lol Indeed, at first I was wondering around with my ranger in sneak mode, and the whole thing just froze. So had to reload to get the full experience. Did anyone else get some between character dialogue, so far he reacted with Neera , Viconia and Djorn.

    Are there any conditions required to trigger this? I've been there and nothing unusual happened.

    The only notable things I did was get the bandit camp unlocked on my map, I had talked to elminster in beregost, and I basically just started chapter 3, not sure what other triggers I may have hit (besides being heroic (20)) which is unusual for the alignment of said surprise

    Edwin has funny reaction :D Also my game froze too when i got there in sneak mode.

    He was added in the 2012 update, so if you played through the area before last night, you wouldn't have seen him.

    He is Chaotic Evil Elf Sorcerer, and have a unique ring like Edwin's necklace.
