Is there any way to transfer beamdogs save to steam folder and still work.I think im gonna buy this again but would like to keep my save + i like steams offline mode,i like being able to play without the internet being on.

All they ever said was that it was Beamdog exclusive for now (back when they were first addressing the question of where you could get it). When people asked about it being on Steam, they didn't say that it never would be, they just said that they couldn't make any promises that it would.
I guess there is no way to get the standalone version into steam? Maybe some virtual key which is connected to one steam account for the ones who already bought it?

Considering Valve didn't get a dime for the Beamdog store version I kinda doubt they will allow it.

Maybe - at least that's what I hope - there will be a steam key for the standalone users as well. Would be a nice solution because we can play BG:EE over our favorite platform and at the same time advertise it to our steam friends which will lead to new purchasers. Right?!

Would love if we could activate the key we bought from Beamdog on Steam. I'd really appreciate if we'd could get access to the key we actually bought from Beamdog... it's not like we are asking for too much, since we payed for the key...
