Rasaad not a Sun Soul monk?

Expected behavior: With the new monk kits I was expecting that Rasaad's class would change from ordinary monk to Sun Soul monk.
Current behavior: He is still an ordinary monk.

Just to be clear this happened when I started a new game (as a shadowdancer) after the patch. It is not like I loaded a game with him already in my party from before the patch. Was this lack of change intentional?

    This is not a bug, but a feature request (that I share, by the way).

    I seriously thought that it was a bug I thought they would change it so much.

    Is there any word on if they plan to change his kit in this game or maybe bgee2?
    I'm debating between playing about pc monk and paladin. If he will be the new kit, it would be overkill to have him.
