Try to slap Nessa and tell Gorion about it.

Protection from Lightning does nothing to stop Gorion but killing him before he gets off the lightning bolt works just fine. The guy I wasn't able to scratch (without much time put in) was the Keeper of the Gate right outside Candlekeep.

I've actually tried to murder Gorion several times, to free myself from his tedious overbearing benevolence...he starts casting and I die...don't even see the lightning bolt...just instant death.

I think you have to take him down before he gets off the spell. There may be a way to protect yourself, but I haven't seen it yet. (I tried Death Ward, Protection from Lightning, Protection from Fire/Cold, the elemental shield ability of the Talos kit, and the Shield of Archons to no effect).

Try this one: Shadow-dancer backstabbing at night time!

    IIRC this worked for me.

Gorion killed you after you killed Imoen and attacked him. Huh.

I tried this and he just fried the shadowdancer even after the PC successfully HIPS. I couldn't do enough damage to take him down quickly enough.

I just thought it would be plenty evil to kill your best friend in broad daylight.

Plenty evil? Plenty? A word for full bellies and fat wallets? evil? Yes. This is evil with a small 'e'. But it could be so much more...

You need to tell her first, that your going to kill her.

Whisper it. Like a friend. Sharing a secret. Into her ear.

    Then cut.

Do it in the dark, in the open, with only the heavens to see you sin.

    This is Evil.

Now are you going to continue this pretence of evil or are you going to raise your game to that of the night haunting terror that Evil can be?
    *yawn*

That is not evil. That is only psychotic, a seriel killer mentality.

To be truly evil, you need to prolong her suffering. Killing her is too easy. Even if you tell her, then do it (that is cruel, yes, but you put her out of her misery much too quickly, just to satisfy your base needs).

You are a slave to your needs. You need to cast off your shackles, and become truly evil, for evil's sake. Don't kill her, she will just go to the Afterlife, to her reward for being so good. You just help that along.

She wants a tale bout trollops and plug tails. So...give...her...ONE! Or two! Or more!

I will make her sentient undead, preserved for all eternity. Her suffering will cause Illmater to weep! Ao will shout for my head in outrage! I will gain Immortality, and SHE WILL SUFFER FOREVER!!!!

The Planes will resound with her screams.

I will cut her. Again, and again. I will drown her, and awaken her waterlogged body. There will be no end to her sufferage! No Afterlife, to grant her peace. No, just pain, pain, PAIN!!!!

Drowning her will not be truly terrorizing, until she reawakes, with the full realization that it.will.happen.AGAIN!! That is terror, that is horror. That is the realization of the truth, of the utter futility of even hoping that it will have an end.

    Enter evil.

He was probably thinking of ending you're taint before you could cause any more chaos that will be sown through your passage.

He also spared the encounter with Sarevok. Win-win.
