The number of mods translated in our language is outstanding - we want to extend CHARNAME's adventures as much as possible
Also, the manteiner of Weidu has been an italian fellow (Valerio Bigiani, aka "the bigg") for many years.
Baldur's Gate has always been very popular around here, there were/are lots of italian sites and forums about this beautiful game.
I still have the original BG+ BG2 and TOB installed and full "modded" on my pc. I'm also a fan of the AD&D ruleset which I consider one the best RPG experience in order to create campaigns in the Forgotten Realms or in the Planescape Lore...
"this game is shit"!!
It was 1998.. since then i have never stopped to play this game (the game) and now i'm 29 years old XD
ps: aedan purtroppo l immagine l ho trovata tramite google e ho cercato di scrivere nel modo più corretto possibile. Magari poi ti racconto un aneddoto sui thread nostrani XD
Sure. You can join us in the party!
Even if they came all from the RPG category, those kind of videogames are evolved in such a different manner (thanks to different culture and/or different game mechanisms) that they've become two distinct VG categories, with peculiarities and standards.
At this point to compare BG to Zelda is the same thing, or to Need for Speed, or to Halo.
As those are different categories you can't do a confrontation, a comparation, as those are different categories and every VG title quoted here is a masterpiece of its own category.
But ENOUGH OFF TOPIC, HERE (my fault too but I wanted to put an end on this)!
Come on, Back on Thread!
Anyway...
In italy Baldur's Gate is totally THE role playing pc game, a community strong and huge as Minsc lives here since 1998!
EDIT: How many typos I've done? OMG! XD
EDIT2: Still correcting my typos...I'm ashamed! O,o
