I once played a mod in which an elven NPC said "My arse is as clean as a human inn."

But I have no idea which mod it was.

Winthrop says: "My old tavern's as clean as an Elven arse!"

@bdeonovic That would be the joke, yes :)

And he says hotel, not tavern.

It might have been Classic Adventures? Could be wrong...I've heard that line, too.

That's a very vulgar elf there. And it does not work well, elven arses are supposed to be clean and smooth like a baby's bottom, while human inns are generally...well...

Ah a fine discussion on human anatomy.... I think I shall be leaving now...

I actually believe the discussion was about elven anatomy and human accommodation practices.
    That sentence.

    Both are...
    - Booked for the evening?
    - Full of rats?
    - For a few gold more, available in "Royal"?

I think that was the elf's way of asking you for a wet wipe.

If you think about it that's hardly a comparison which inspires confidence. Even elves have to excrete waste.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure Elhan would deny it.

And are you saying Aerie poops?

    Ridiculous.

On the flip side of the coin, this conversation is really improving my image of human inns.

Oh please, the Drow are weak. Oh noes, there is big dragon blocking our way to the surface. Should we fight it or just cower in our crappy city and hope some big strong man will steal it's eggs for us.

Or they could wait a couple of millenia for the dragon to die of old age.

The scout pulled away, rolled and came to his feet with his kukris in front of him.
No attack came. The portal drake splayed across the floor of the cavern. Blood came less frequently and with less urgency with every fading heartbeat.

"Always knew..." the dying dragon sighed, "it would be... a drow."
