in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
can someone give me a list of characters you can have a romance with, with out any big spoilers? Also could you tell me there alignments if possible?

    There's three romances in BG2/ToB but one of those is pretty spoiery so you might nto want that list too.

    im assuming there is no carry over in romances to the next game because the only available romance is with characters that were added for the EE.

    Neera, Dorn, and Rasaad's romances will continue in BG2:EE. In addition, there are four romances present in the original BG2: three females (good, neutral, and evil) for male characters and one male character for females. However, if you are a dwarf or a female gnome, none of the four will romance you.

    @Jalily I totally forgot about the male NPC that's Romanceable.

    do you know if the romance with the first games characters will affect the second games romances? for instance if i romance Neera now will she be upset in the second if i romance another woman in BG2EE

    Supposedly, Valygar and Haer'dalis were supposed to be romanceable in BG2 as well, but were cut for time reasons. According to one website, some lines for these romances still exist in the CSV, but I haven't had time to look. Certainly, there are other characters who have been modded into having romances, including Edwin, Xan, Nalia, Imoen and Solau'fein (and that's just the canon NPCs!).

    Aerie, Jaheira, Viconia for men and Anomen for women? Is that correct? What about Nalia?

    I wouldn't know. I've never played any of them, Edwin's included. According to one site, you must have an Intelligence of at least 14 to Romance Edwin. But he never appealed to me, quite honestly. It might be amusing if you were also a mage and had a higher intelligence than Edwin... *chortling*

    Actually, only Aerie will romance a gnome, probably due to her having been raised by Quayle. She's a full elf. Only Jaheira is a half-elf.

    Sarevok romance? That just seems too out of the box for me. Imoen romance already made me cringe at the possibility of half-god flipper babies running around. Sarevok romance sounds like half-god, devil-horned flipper babies.

    The modder that wrote the Imoen romance mod probably regrets it still, even though it does sound like something out of ancient mythology. Or greek tragedy. It's disturbing.

    not sure anyone mentioned it, but there are *several* mods for BG2 romances (including a Haer'Dalis one ;) )

    My favorite's the BG2 Edwin romance by Laufey :D
    (worst comes to worst for finding them, pocketplane has a comprehensive list of mods, but I'm unsure of how up-to-date it is)

    You do know that they aren't actually related, right? They recieved bhaal's essence, not his DNA, and don't resemble each other in the slightest. That's what I always got out of it, anyway. Kinda like how God didn't need to have sex with Mary to make Jesus. He just kinda went, "here ya go, have mah baby."
