    I am an assassin.

With an avatar like that, I think of rock music rather than rogue kits:

Level 1 fighter. I may not be experienced in the fighting arts, but I have the strength and will.

I was a Combat Medic at my 3 years of service so I think that a Cleric - which is a Healer-Fighter - would fit the most.

    @Anduin Not a multi-class Teacher/Adventurer?

If I were to be transported to a fantasy world, it would probably be Ravenloft (2nd edition) as an Arcanist.

    Forgot completely about multicass!

Hang on... Is that not for people who have more than one job?
  • Son_of_ImoenSon_of_Imoen Member Posts: 1,806
Don't you know teachers are the last of the homo universalis? (My father who teached in a primary school always said so). They are the multi's par excellence!

    @Anduin
Teachers are their own super class. They were omitted from DnD because they were so overpowered.

Hmmm... Difficult to answer. Since I count paleontology as one of my dear favourite hobbies, the Natural Philosopher (Druid kit) would probably be my job of choice in an AD&D world setting. Although in my case, a reptile version of the Hivemaster kit could proof to be even more fitting. :)

@Kamigoroshi, you might enjoy playing a druid in Neverwinter Nights 2 with the Kaedrin's Pack mod installed. It gives you a dinosaur animal companion.
  • KamigoroshiKamigoroshi Member Posts: 5,870
Yes, I'm aware of that mod @belgarathmth. Although I personally do prefer Cyphre's Companions Pack, which adds even more animal and plant companions. The tyrannosaurus and smilodon animal companions are amongst my favourites. ;)

Alright. I've listed eight tests that will generate five sets of ability scores (the last four on the list test only for specific ability scores). I've indicated the edition of (A)D&D upon which the scores are based. Happy testing!

(These tests will each give you a full set of ability scores
    1. D&D Ability Score Quiz (1e/2e)
    2. What Kind of D&D Character Would You Be? (3e)
    3. AD&D Stats Quiz (1e/2e)
    4. Catto's D&D Ability score Quiz (3e)

(These tests will together give you one full set of ability scores)
    5. D&D Stats: Physical Test (Str, Dex, Con) (Classic D&D)
    6. D&D Intelligence Test (3e)
    7. D&D Wisdom Test (3e)
    8. D&D Charisma Test (3e)

Here are my averages (rounded down):

    Str: 10
    Dex: 16
    Con: 10
    Int: 16
    Wis: 16
    Cha: 15

    Class suggestions?

@zur312 EasyDamus' test is linked in #2, but there was a character out place with prevented the link from properly loading. Thanks for letting me know it wasn't working. I've edited the post and it should work now.

Bard...I play several instruments & know music theory...i have a strong interest in history (especially military & religious history), i know a little bit about everything (i've been told several times i would be used as a lifeline on trivia games) but am not a master of anything...& i can tell a good story (usually)

A bit of a jack of all trades so most likely a bard, but not a very good one. That or a scribe in Candlekeep

A candidate for The Watchers Over the Fallen, perhaps?

Well, according to @zur312's tests, I'm a wizard! Sweet!
  • PhyraxPhyrax Member Posts: 198
    I'd probably be a Wizard/Cleric: I am a scientist and a medical doctor.

As I am a doctor, you would expect me to heal people, however, I think I started out as a Cleric, then after a few levels felt healing is not my cup of tea and dual-classed to wizard.
I prefer thinking about a problem, analyzing it from different angles, finding evidence from various sources and then make a decision.

    Strength: 14

    Dexterity: 18

    Constitution: 18

    Intelligence: 21

    Wisdom: 19

    Charisma: 18

Just saying guys...I'm pretty sure you should throw the Catto ability test out of the water. I think all this opinion based quiz reflects is my apparent lack of modesty. :(

Because if this is right I'm pretty sure I should be glowing or something...

Curious topic. Well I'm a boxer and I work at a technical support service.

I'd either consider myself a fighter with a high charisma. Or a fighter/Rogue for the guile more than the thieving.

Based on my life experiences, I'd probably line up the most with mage, possibly a mage/cleric multiclass.

Based on my forum portrait, clearly a paladin.

Based on my username, clearly a charlatan.

    A ranger/cleric...that doesn't worship a deity. (wait, what?)
  • WilburWilbur Member Posts: 1,173
First I thought I'd be a fighter/thief, but since I play the the guitar I guess I would be a bard.
  • SouthpawSouthpaw Member Posts: 2,026
    ....I guess a Monk.
Because I've been training Eastern Martial Arts and Western Boxing most of my adult life.
If not a Monk...a Swashbuckler. (All the resources of a Thief, without the backstabbing)
