I just can't imagine that this tiny cute halfling is dead. Even this one reason is enough to give our little Alora a cameo! They should also give her an additional lucky mole which grants +2 THACO.
Shar-Teel should be a voluntary gladiator in the Copper Coronet, loudly protesting when you free the slaves and ruin her fun. Maybe she could even fight alongside the Beastmaster.
I'd love to stroll into the Underdark and find Shar-Teel, running her own warrior clan and showing those pesky Drow wannabe dominatrixes what a real warrior is all about. Possibly with a trophy collection of tacky stripper armor in her camp, and her quest would be similar to Officer Vai's - she'd reward you for each set of drow armor you bring her. This would greatly lower the frustration of OCD-ishly collecting all the stuff only to have it fall apart on the surface. I like having a use for items, even if it's just a tiny gold reward.
I voted for Eldoth because I think he'd be the most likely to have to flee the area after the last game (especially if you chose to blackmail Entar Silvershield). But I would love to see Mazzy and Alora talk, as both are female halflings with VERY different outlooks on life
With the wealth of new and interesting npc's in BG2 , with their own stories already, and not ever having played any of those npc mods to color my judgement(that isn't meant as an insult or slight to those who did) I chose Kivan. Kivan felt more like a group member and less like some temporary flunky npc in bg1. Give Kivan a bigger role & potentiality of being a new joinable npc with a more fleshed out back story. E1 else should be included in small cameos like the rest. Would be fun to see poor Yeslick making another bad business decision and getting himself into trouble & a slave or prisoner of some faction or other, and the party rescues him again, but not as another npc. Also would be funny to run into mr. gloom & doom Xan in a cameo (potential spoiler) being found inside the (good grump I can't remember what it's called now, that big realm jumping globe in the slums) and doing nothing but complaining and being his old gloom & doom self. Obviously all of this would depend yet again on the dreaded "contractual obligations" nonsense from Atari or Hasbro or whomever.
