Who should get a cameo in BG2:EE

Of the 25 joinable NPCs in BG1 (vanilla) only 18 appear in BG2 (5 can join you; 2 appear in the tutorials; 11 make cameo appearances). So that means seven didn't make the cut.

So, the question is, if contractual stuff allowed it, which of the not-so-magnificent seven would you most like to see get a walk-on part in BG2:EE?

    I think Xan is in the tutorial. Kagain is missing from your list.

    With the BG1 NPC Project and the Kivan and Deheriana mod in BG2, Kivan turns into a well written character and great friend.

    It would be fun seeing Eldoth wooing Keldorns daugther, Alora trying to rob Ribalds store or Yeslick as Hendacks roommate.

    Damn! Serves me right for relying on Wikipedia for my information. And I don't know how I missed Kagain. He's one of my favourite characters.

    Would like to see Xan there, but he really should have gone back to Evereska. Played his mod, didn't care for the voice acting... had to delete his new audio, import the bg1 ones...

    Close second would be Kivan since, ya know, Tazok. Played his mod too, and while I wouldn't quite call it "well written" as Shin above said, I would still call it a significantly better than average mod. Better than Saerilith for sure.

    Shar Teel would make a good minor villain though. A Chapter 6 bounty hunter perhaps.

    I would vote Kivan, but I already use the Kivan npc mod, so Xan and his moonblade

    Kivan: Yeah! In my headcanon (lol, no one cares) Tazok did him in. But I could totally revamp my precious headcanon for some revenge in Windspear!
    Shar-Teel: I LOVE it! What would be neato kapeto, would be if there were possible outcomes!
    -Male: Shar-Teel outright tries to waste you.
    -Female: Shar-Teel voices sincere regret, and then tries to waste you.
    --Female Warrior, or maybe Viconia present: Shar-Teel lets you talk her down, possibly joining you?

    Yeslick is the epitome of awesome, sure his name is a little odd, but he's a dwarf, he's allowed to be odd... and anyway I almost always get him in my party in my good aligned games, and I'd like to see him, even if in just a cameo appearance, in BG2EE

    It would be nice if there were a side quest where you could save Alora after she got caught breaking into somewhere scary.

    Failing that, I'd like to see her trying to cheer Edwin up after he turns into a girl. "Someone needs a tickle! Someone needs a tickle! "

    I think Kivan should return not just as a cameo but as a playable npc. I know the mod exists to re-introduce him, possibly integrate that into the game as an option or add him if contractually it is possible with a new story line?

    alora that game needs more halflings

    they could also put her in the guarded compound which would give it abit of a purpose atleast maybe help her pull a heist

    priblem with cameos is i end up just get annoyed that said characters arent playable

    None of them should be reduced to "cameos." They should be available as NPCs, especially Shar-Teel.

    Kagain is in the pub drinking strong dwarven ale and eyeing up the barmaids.

    I'm afraid I forgot to include him in the list, which I admit does make this poll a bit pointless (even when compared to the other pointless polls I have posted)

    Nothing was better than her backstabbing someone "With a smile!"

    Though of them Skie would be the best NPC addition, as a Neutral pure-thief probably the most-needed role of them all.

    Skie or Safanna as NPCs would be ideal.Tried the mod for Skie in BG2 just to add another viable thief,portrays her as a thirteen year old rather than the 20 something she should be...................(sigh) "okay Yosh,come on down"

    I would say xan, but I think he should be joinable. Yeslick seems like he should be around. Or maybe kivan, with a party of his own, like drizzit. That would be interesting.

    lol I think it's just cos she has the only (kinda) good-looking portrait for the girls in BG 1. But yeah, I can't stand her... not only incredibly annoying, but functionally useless, can't find her without Eldoth, and not until Baldur's Gate! She doesn't even provide comedic value like Tiax.

    Xan for the hilarious lines alone. I wanna say Kivan but another ranger plotline in BG2 seems redundant. I could however see something original involving Shar-Teel.

    It's hard to imagine him singing and dancing and I don't suppose he was a little ball of sunshine even before Tazok went to work on him and Deheriana.

    I suspect he would find that revenge gave him little solace and he would end up as a nihilistic loner. Maybe he could turn up as a pit fighter in the Copper Coronet: looking for someone to put him out of his misery ...

    I think that since boo takes up a quick item slot he should be able to cast blindness, then at higher levels, with no save, or power word, blind.
