@Sylvus_Moonbow In Vanilla BG, yes. BG2 removed the cleavage; BGEE brought them...er...um...it back.
It's a well-kept secret that studying magic makes your boobs grow if you're female.
It's out of necessity, because they need a portable desk everywhere they go to put books and scrolls on to read. It's just evolution.
Actually, now that I think about it, if my above logic holds true, then males who study magic should have huge penises as well. Since, like the females, they also need a portable desk to place scrolls and books.

This is my Blackguard PC. I really like the portrait I cropped for him. ...Also, check out his stats. I seriously didn't cheat to get them. That 18/00 STR made me very happy.
I have the same portrait. I think someone posted this image around here (most likely LadyRhian)
By the way, that's a wicked party you've gathered there.
This is my Blackguard PC. I found and cropped a very nice portrait of a Charismatic Blackguard. ...Also check out his stats. That's a 18/00 without cheating and still had enough points to max CON and CHA.
@Mortianna I love the new color themes too, they tried to match the specialist wizards with the corresponding school's casting colors. They did a good job but failed at some, I think.
Abjurer-green, okay. Protection scrolls are green tinged too, so it makes most sense. Conjurer-dark purple, okay. Diviner-white, okay. Enchanter-gold, okay. Suits their charismatic and alluring nature. Illusionist-metalic blue? Not okay. The illusion casting glow is a weird one, but I don't see any blue. I see dark hues of some green and white and semi-multi-colors, but not blue. It clashes with alteration, see below. I use IWD casting graphic for illusion, which is a playful pink and fits better IMHO. Invoker-red, okay. Red sparks and magic missiles and offensive spells. Necromancer-black. Casting graphic for necromancy is cyan, a whitish blue. Not black. Though it is appropriate for necromancers to wear black robes with skull and bones adorments (Diablo 2 did it right) so it is up do debate. It distracts from casting glow theme, but suits a necromancer. Transmuter-whitish blue. Wrong. Alteration casting glow is dark blue, among all things, it should be dark blue or metallic blue like illusionist's IMHO.
I see, sorry about the oversight. And thanks for the portrait!
Don't worry about it. Glad that you like the portrait. Personally, I couldn't decide if I wanted to make him Lawful Evil or Chaotic Evil but since my previous CHARNAME was a Paladin, I wanted to make him a polar opposite.
I discovered today that the green highlight on TAB also shows up if you press it while the sword icon for attacking is active, showing you any chests that could potentially be bashed open.

I can tell you definitively that the color of the casting animation was not the first thing we looked at when deciding on colors.

Was it the colours of the Neverwinter Nights mage robes? They look q lot like their respective ones in that game, iirc.

Wow, really? I am surprised you matched so many of them correctly still, and this was the first impression I got upon seeing the color schemes. The original bg designers had chosen the colors well for their casting animations, it seems. :-)
I feel kind of bad for doing this, but I wanted to find out if you could kill Gorion and live. Apparently you kind of can, but Charname only lived for about two seconds after chunking him though and then dropped dead for no apparent reason.
First he tried to hit me with a lightning, but actually hit himself (minor spell turning ). Then I cast invisibility and backstabbed him. This is the only time I was able to kill him and not instantly die myself.
I can't believe no-one has posted comparison between 2014 and patch 1.2. After having played with 1.2 now, I could never go back to blurry fonts of yesteryear! Even the UI lost more than few pounds in this update.
